(A). The 85% seats in B.Ed. Course are reserved for Bonafide / Domicile Himachali candidates and 15% seats are reserved for the students of other states of India.
The admission to college will be made as per 100-Point roster for different categories as abbreviated follows: Ver. = Vertical Reservation; Hori. = Horizontal Reservation
Vertical Reservation : (i) SC = 22%; (ii) ST = 5% (iii) OBC = 15%
Horizontal Reservation : (i) Ex-Man / Ward of Ex-Man = 15%; (ii) PH = 3%; WFF =2%; IRDP / Antodaya = 15%
Gen = General; SC = Schedule Caste; ST = Schedule Tribe; IRDP = Integrated Rural Development Programme or Antodaya Programme; PH = Physically Handicapped; WFF = Ward of freedom Fighter; Ex-man = Ex-Service Man; WES = Ward of Ex-Service Man; OBC = Other Backward Classes.

B. The following Formula shall be Adopted to Resolve a Tie for Admission
- In case of a tie, the candidate having higher aggregate marks in Bachelor’s degree shall be admitted first.
- Even now if the tie is not resolved, the candidate having higher aggregate marks in any two of the following (in which his / her marks are higher) shall be admitted first. Matric, 10+2 or any other equivalent examination.
- Further, if the tie is still not resolved, the candidate younger in age shall be admitted first.

- Candidates seeking admission in the college will submit attested photocopies of 10th, +2, B.A. / B.Sc. / B. Com., Post Graduation examinations of any recognized university, latest Bonafide / Domicile Himachali Certificate and character certificate from the last institution attended. Candidates will furnish a fresh character issued by any Gazetted Officer if the gap is more than six months from the institution last attended.
- candidates who have passed graduation from the institution other than those affiliated to H.P. University are required to furnish equivalence and eligibility certificate from H.P. University at the time of admission. They shall also have to submit migration certificate within twenty days after the admission to B.Ed. course.
- Candidates must be mentally and physically fit to undergo the training.
- Although married women are eligible for admission to B.Ed. course, they should not be in the family way at the time of admission. Married women will have to produce a medical certificate to this effect from the competent medical authority. There is no provision for granting maternity leave during the session. Defaulter, if any, may expelled from the college.

Immediately on the joining of the college, the students should get the following uniform prepared prescribed by the college as per detail given below:-

Royal Blue shirt with full sleeves, Grey color pant and Black sweater.

1. Over all suit Magenta color with full sleeves, Double dye Duppatta (White & Magenta color)
