“There are stars who’s light only reaches the earth long after they have fallen apart. There are people whose remembrance gives light in this world, long after they have passed away. This light shines in our darkest nights on the road we must follow.” It is proud moment for me after striving hard for several years that I have been able to accomplish a dream that my late husband had thought off. My beloved husband, Rajnish Awasthi, was born on March 09, 1960 at Dharamshala in an educated and enlightened family of Class I Officer. He received his education at Dharamshala and graduated in Law from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. Spirit of social service was imbibed in him during his childhood under the benevolent guidance of his father Late Sh. Gyan Chand Awasthi and mother Smt. Sudershana Awasthi. Rajnish fondly called ‘Awasthi Ji’ by his friends and neighbours decided to make himself available to the needy and poor people. Selfless social service and dedication of my beloved husband towards bringing change in the society, particularly in inspiring the youth to live a meaningful life left deep footprints in my life. Sudden demise of my husband darkened the life of entire family and created an emotional hollow for my both children daughter Akshima and son Arsh. His altruistic service which was deeply and widely recognized in the area motivated me to propagate his ideals. My mother-in-law who retired as a School Principal, guided and motivated me to open a school. I began my journey into the field of education by starting a play school, which is gradually growing. Three sisters-in-law, who are married in reputed families and my friends steadfastly supported me in my efforts to set up an educational institution. It gives me immense pleasure to put in black and white that the active support of my family members, my friends and my well-wishers, has enabled me to dedicate this educational institution to my Late Husband, Rajnish whose ideals continue to guide me.
